STRATEGY AND IDENTITY
We were asked by South Lakeland Borough Council to look at Grange Over Sands Lido, a grade 2 listed building, located on North side of Morecambe bay. The Lido has been in a state of disrepair for some years and is currently closed to the public. Various scheme have been submitted over the years which involve the demolition of the facility however it is now protected and therefore only light touch interventions will be considered viable. The intent within our scheme is to provide inclusive and accessible entertainment, educ-tainment and 1st class facilities with an identifiable revenue, a believable brand and creative management to ensure long term success for the Lido.
A light touch intervention providing partial enclosure and protection which respects the affection held by many whilst providing a re-imagined purpose enabling Grange to attract new visitors throughout the year by the design of flexible infrastructure and event management.
Marketing
Our marketing will bring to life, a story around a place, its people and history. A series of day to night, young to old and seasonal engagements that appeal to everyone both locals and visitors creating an appealing new North West destinational venue.
